My friend, Chris, has a new exhibition coming up. Make some time in the centre-city and get along to it.
"Narrations of Displacement 3: Accidental Discoveries
You are warmly invited to the opening event of Narrations of Displacement
(Accidental Discoveries) on Tuesday 17th January 6 – 8 pm.
The artists explore the idea of ‘accidental discovery’ and its relationship
to displacement between the New Zealand landscape, cultural traditions and
visions of the future.
Exhibiting artists include:
Chris Hargreaves, Dave Stewart, Elspeth Fougere, Louise Dentice, Andrew
Rankin, Karl Pearce, Paul Rhind, Audrey, Fa’afetai Amituana’i.
Exhibition runs: Sunday 15th January – Friday 3rd February 2006.
Located at the Aotea Gallery Level 4, Aotea Centre.
