They're cultural
Two Japanese(ish) movies shot in NZ that I have watched today:Last Samurai and Tongan Ninja. One is a noble-minded high budget movie that appears to have anti-establishment political views; the other has Raybon Kan. One is extremely long, even for a feature length movie; the other has Raybon Kan. One makes use of Aotearoa's beautiful countryside and brings to light its spiritual elements; the other still has Raybon...I mean, I could understand a cameo! However, if you see one ninja movie this year, with a Tongan in it, make sure you watch Tongan Ninja.
The Rock (90.2fm in Auckland) proudly announced they're streaming audio...But I can't get it to work. Is anyone having any luck with this? They're cultural too.
I didn't say anything about high culture, did I?
