Comes
Teardrop wells in olive eye
Darkness glistens at its core.
Diamond drop of light and life
Penetrates the murk.
Longing this way turns a gaze
So bitter sweet and sparkling.
He comes swifter than the days
Feet splash dry in Summer dust.
He comes quicker than expected
Arriving ere the teardrop falls.
