I know not everyone is this stupid...

I know teaching in a language school has improved my geography a lot. Good old Aotearoa is quite far away from everywhere else, so I don't feel too bad about not knowing where every country is. At least I know which continent I can find it on.

And most importantly -- even if the names on the map have been changed -- I can tell the difference between Australia and Korea. America and Kenya too, if it came to that.

But it's terrifying to watch on-the-street-Americans wanting to invade Korea (North or South?) and France...then pointing to Aussie and NZ. It's true, see for yourself.

The media student in me wonders how many people aren't in the clip that realised something was wrong with the map. The cynic in me thinks not many.
