Last Daze
At 3:00pm today I got a text.
"Congratulations," it read, "you're unemployed."
This isn't the new HR strategy. It was encouragement from a friend. After 2.5 years with the same company I've left to start our world tour.
In about 30 hours I'll be homeless too - living out of a car boot and sleeping in a tent for three weeks before heading off to Asia and Europe.
An unemployed drifter...I don't think this is what my parents had in mind.
