Air
This is where the series comes to a fatal, spluttering anti-climactic halt. I don't really have much to say about air...Earth, fire, water - yup. But Air? Nothing.
It's kind of childish to say "we all need air to survive, so..." and I don't believe that the heavens are a physical space above the final sphere of our galaxy. So that's out.
My first thought on air was pollution, especially smoking, but I've done my greenie rant back at earth and get enough hassles about greenie smoking thanks to my dreads. But I don't smoke ANYTHING. Honest.
So for now, I'm afraid, my brain's only at 75%. You'll have to forgive me, the series is a washout. Then again, three out of four is only bad when you're talking about heart valves.

alethia, i wrote an article a few years ago, linking the Pentecost Spirit with air, fire, water, earth, in particular in relation to nz. it is at http://www.reality.org.nz/article.php?ID=184.
I have also designed a set of 4 spirituality postcards on these themes - email me your address and I'll send them up.
