Celebration II
I've got another two things to celebrate with you!
One's an update - our final website stats showed a 23% increase in unique visitors from July to August. Very nice. It's a ridiculous measuring stick, but it still makes me happy to see that people are coming. Even if it is by accident. I'd like you to consider it as accidently walking into the Louvre...but cheaper.
For those interested, our stats are provided by www.statcounter.com, and we're happy with their service.
And, I've booked in my first sabbatical. Admittedly it's only one week, but I have a holiday dedicated to study, refreshment and writing coming up. Yay! That'll be the end of September (19th - 24th) and I'm shaping up my study plans at the moment. I think I'll be aiming to gain a more theoretical understanding of post-modernism and Christian thought.
I've stolen my reading list from www.emergentvillage.org. Does anyone else have any additional titles to keep me going?
If I get bored of that I'll move onto eschatology or the creation stories of Genesis/John. It's a lot to fit into a week, but I'm really excited about getting some quality, focused study time.
Yes. I am a geek.
