Scooterific
I've finally hired a scooter. I was very cold and wet when I got it home...But I got home!I plan to drive it around for a week and see how it goes. If I like it, I'll sell the car and buy one.
But the weather this week is tragic...It's raining as I type...And I mean raining. This is so typically Auckland. Last week of school holidays too!
Anyway, if you see me sprawled on the side of the road feel free to help me up.
I'm going to go and drive around carparks and side streets for an hour or so.

Well, I've driven around for an hour in the rain in rush hour...well 4:30-5:30pm is a significant chunk of rush hour anyway.
And I'm still alive.
I even managed to keep up with traffic and break 50km a couple of times.
And have a few near-religious experiences. Gotta go make a will, then I'll be back out on the road.

Nice work brutha! Shame about the crappy weather. I opted for the bus today - too much rain and wind for my scootering likes (fairweather scooter rider? me? noooooooo), especially after having it nearly blown out from under me the other day. But hey, summer is on the way huh!
