To whom I speak
If we consider God to be creator that leaves us creation. I'm aware of the various meanings but at the moment it seems too mechanical to me. At present I'm communing with God as father, mother and lord.
I'm tired of the debates surrounding biological sciences and creationism. Good luck to all involved but I don't think we'll ever really know.
As it stands I imagine the earth a bioshere of interacting organisms with my God as parent[s]. That's where the father/mother metaphors are coming from. I can connect and be connected to.
Sometimes even parent figures leave for a while; sometimes we leave them.
And 'lord', as I struggle afresh to find the best ways to steward my time, talents and dreams.
