I feel...when I read...because...
My mental space today...saddened. I'm so excited about getting this cast off and getting down to Piha or Mission Bay...and the met hits me up with this -- a probable cyclone!
So much for our last, great NZ Summer.
However, I'm encouraged by the fact I probably won't be sitting next to children on any of my flights (here).

Our last great NZ summer went much the same way...
Plan was for camping/enjoying the surf beaches on the East Cape, first day rained a little, second rained a lot, then came the floods! A whole week of sitting in the car knowing that some great surf beaches are less than a km away =(
